Getting Started With HTML5

HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language. Now while that may sound like a mouthful, it is really simple. Basically HTML (and PHP too) is just text. Text that a browser can understand and display on your computer screen.

Creating a basic page in html is pretty easy. There is no magic here, it's just like learning a simple language. Every page you see on the web, no matter how nice (or ugly) it looks is rendered into html for the browser to be able to understand and display it to the visitor on that page.
